Job Summary Pre-prepare items required for salad station according to par sheets or instructions from Executive Chef/Sous Chef. Prepare menu items assigned to his or her work station during service.

Job Tasks

  1. Prepares soup for daily ala cart lunch and dinner service
  2. Slices and pre-portions cold cooked meat, fish and poultry; garnishes them in an appetizing and tasteful manner.
  3. Prepares meats, seafood, vegetables and other items required for service and special club functions
  4. Carefully follows standard recipes when pre-preparing and preparing all items.
  5. Uses food preparation equipment according to manufacturers' instructions.
  6. Maintains and cleans work station and equipment.
  7. Returns unused food products to proper storage areas.
  8. Assists with preparation of other food products on serving line as needed.
  9. Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling procedures including those relating to personal hygiene.
  10. Returns soiled food preparation utensils and other small wares to the proper areas.
  11. Prepares meats, poultry, seafood and other items for cooking.
  12. Prepares or assists in preparing employee meals.
  13. Maintains the highest sanitary standards.
  14. Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by Chef.

Job Qualifications: Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must speak, read, and write in English. Experience: Previous experience in high volume restaurant/club preferred.
